Engaging the community at the intersection of art, history, and education through innovative, locally connected and globally relevant exhibits, programs, and experiences. NUMU offers equal and equitable representation, opportunities, and services to all stakeholders through our operations, exhibitions, public programs, and permanent collection. We believe art and history have the power to transform the world, deepening our understanding of one another, and inspiring meaningful action. It is vital for a community institution to actively uplift a wide range of perspectives. NUMU is committed to expanding access for our entire community, including those often left out of traditional discourse. We respect and honor our history and it’s our responsibility as an organization to help build a better future.
