This intimate exhibition celebrates Flett (spoqín/sp'q'n'iʔ/Spokan , 1946–2013), his remarkable career and his enduring role as an artist, mentor, and preserver of Spokane and Plateau history. This exhibition from our permanent collection features works by contemporary artists like Humaira Abid, Ruben Trejo, Ric Gendron, and Jacob Lawrence, alongside a rare opportunity to see multimedia installations by Patrick Zentz and Willem Volkersz that have not been on view in decades.
