More info
Starting as a traveling exhibit in 2015, the Museum of the Palestinian People visited over 50 locations before finding a permanent home in the heart of Washington, D.C. On June 15th, 2019, we opened our doors, becoming the first Palestinian museum in the nation’s capital dedicated to telling the stories of the people of Palestine. Through contributions from around the world, we exhibit Palestinian artwork, historical artifacts, and cultural documentation. We hail from an ancient land with over 4,000 years of history, enriched by the rise and fall of empires. This rich heritage is now celebrated and preserved at the Museum of the Palestinian People, where we explore and showcase Palestinian history, arts, and culture.
